The Importance of Mindfulness

The word for meditation in Tibetan language is gom and it's translated as familiarize. In some ways this sense of orientation, what's called orientation instruction, which is more of a sense of opening or moving awareness out of its collapsed or small contraction that's self-referencing into this subtler wider orientation. It's not just a state of calm that effortless mindfulness brings; it goes to the root of the existential anxiety from being a small thought-based mind only.
