The Importance of Specific Imagery in Writing

I was thinking about that when you were saying a minute ago about the kind of the magnifying glass. Like really, really like telling a big story by going very, very specific. And then do you think that comes from poetry? I just always loved like finding like that one perfect image or finding that like one perfect sentence. But I kind of need more than that for a book unfortunately. So much happened to make that key image happen.
