As many people do who are in quant fields and faced with such an existential crisis, I decided I was going to go become a software developer. NASDAQ worked as a data scientist here for a few years before moving into a management position. Worked at Boeing in manufacturing quality and standing up at Advanced Analytics and Data Science Group there.
