fireworks are legal in Florida only on the 4th of July, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The compromise was you can't sell fire back in the 50s when they were trying to figure out what the laws should be with fireworks in the United States. In Texas, there's two 12-day periods there to the big periods of the year where you can sell fireworks.
