There's a lot of CS Lewis references that she makes in this book, which just I'm only bringing up because I'm meant to ask you, have you read CS Lewis? As a kid. But I really liked that. They probably read them multiple times, but I don't remember them very well at all. Like the house. His favorite statue, the Faun, that's a direct reference to the line, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
