There is some evidence that girls and boys might differ in terms of externalizing behaviors for example. There's definitely evidence, especially when it comes to socioeconomic status, that teens from lower SES environments are more likely to take risks. Do you know whether there are differences based on race and ethnicity or socioeconomic status? You could imagine that somebody who is living in a tougher situation, you might be willing to take more risks because what do I have to lose here? My life is already tough.
