The Impact of Debt on Mental Health
Disabled people already worse off the had before cost of living crisis. Now it's really exasperated those costs and also those difficult decisions that you have to make. Having to choose between putting fuel in your car or taking your child for a day out is enormous. We know that being in problem debt makes you significantly more likely to experience mental health problems. Even if you are not in debt, those kinds of money worries and that sense of precariety, it weighs on people ever day.
