The History of Sushi

One of the most popular types of sushi in Japan is cooked sweet egg omelette. Sushi also comes at all price points from a few dollars in the supermarket to cheap chains and luxury restaurants. The raw fish, edible rice, types of fish and way of eating are relatively recent in the history of the dish. When we think about the history of food we need to understand that the idea of traditional food is often invented.
