Rajiv Gandhi's Rule of the Supreme Court

She superseded three judges in order to place a judge of her choice as the Chief Justice of India. She had a gross against some of the judgments of the Supreme Court including a bank nationalization. Rajiv Gandhi did not want an independent judiciary and she did everything in her power to weaken the judiciary.
