The Political Conundrum of Trump's Criminal Trial

If Trump wins and retakes the White House, forget about it. Even if Willis or DOJ jumps ahead of the Manhattan DA, it's nearly impossible to see any trial happening before 2024. A state judge in New York or Georgia could theoretically attempt to hold a trial of a sitting president but count me highly skeptical that this would actually happen legally or politically.
