The Experiences of Visioning Are Quite Common
We have some low level version of vision in our own lives. I'm just not sure that we recognize it. One thing I found is the experiences of visioning, including some pretty extreme ones are surprisingly common. We just don't have a handle for them. And what strikes me about Merton's vision experience is how course-like it is.
