The minimum wage here changed on April 1st to 87,000 pesos, which is about $213 at the blue rate. Three weeks later, it is at $165. As a foreigner and bringing in US dollars, it's very favorable for me as it's devastating for locals who earn in pesos. I think foreigners, when they're going through this, it feels like you're getting wealthier because everything's getting cheaper. But what's really happening is the people in that country are getting poorer by the day when the inflation really gets to kick in.
