The Importance of Divergence in the Stock Market

I feel like in a normal environment, you kind of have these more in line with each other. This divergence is not the norm. I'm always looking for short ideas, but I'm also mindful of the idea that we're probably close to done. The rally that happened off the October bottom was distinctly different, importantly different from what happened during all the other rallies during 2022. It indicates that whatever the market was concerned about during 2022, the lows in October fully discounted it and the market was looking forward and it liked what it saw.
