The Turning of the Will

In Augustine, something made unto the image of God and likeness of God is a turning thing. A turning thing becomes what it is in its fullness when it turns to the prototype. Without turning entirely, the soul is not paralyzed, it's still a dynamism. It's doing stuff, but it's not happy. And I had this passage from T.S. Eliot that lifted this out: "I do not hope to turn again"
