How to Unlearn Behaviors

Katie: I want to challenge your belief system that being self-confident means you don't make mistakes. We're going to use some of our psychological learning principles and we're going to apply them to you, so keep me posted. You can read about it if you want the Skinner box and basic psychological learning principles but what I really want you to do is to challenge yourself to not do the shit talking if we can. And then the other is to offer a reward for the behavior instead of the negative like shocking you right because the shock you know is almost like It's almost like that negative reinforcer is the only way we know in order to unlearn behaviors.
