How to Paint MDF Shelves
MDF is a type of synthetic wood that can be used to make shelves. Luke had to paint the MDF shelves about four, maybe five times before they looked good. His uncle Nick gave him some tips on how to use an acrylic water-based primer and sanded them down. The first coat causes the fibers of the MDF to kind of stick up, so then you sand it down.
