Aquinas's the Capital Grace of Christ
The default pizin isn't that by the incarnation, Christ is going to have all these defects. The default is that he is man in his perfect state with full glorification of the body and all these things. So why does Christ have the ability to suffer physical pain? Well, it's not because that's the default. It's because he prevents himself from being unable to sufferphysical pain in order to do something for our salvation. That's a very important logical point that Aquinas makes.
