The Cost of Living on Student Loans

There's more than 1.8 trillion in student loans, which is a lot of debt and there's no collateral behind the student loan debt. So what have all of these people been doing with the money that they didn't use to pay their student loans? Well, they've been buying food. They've been traveling. They're just using the money. And now people don't have that extra income that they're not paying on their loans to cover those higher costs.
