What's the Career Path in Analytics?

The NBA uses interns pretty heavily, not as a cograme coffee, but just particularly like the summer time. A lot of people who enter as interns and in those intern ships roll into regular jobs. There's no equivalent term for using data for the nba or for basketball? Not really. But i do think i difficult because there's a level of communication that has to happen with a bunch of technical people.
