Yorkshire building society said it never shifts accounts based on customers belief only if a customer was rude abusive violent or discriminates in any way. Alexandra Tolstoy who's described us an aristocrat and they've shut down her account she was married to an Russian oligarch with links to Putin but they split in 2016 so she says like you know I need a bank account for enough. A vicar had his account stopped at Yorkshire building society after he wrote an email criticizing its public stance on LBGTQ plus rights.
