How to Manage Your Day Against Your Plan

One of the most effective things you can do for calming yourself and regaining your focus is breathing. When you're in a high stress state, there's no way you can think clearly or make the right decisions. So I always encourage people at the end of every big meeting event task, whatever it is, take 30 to 60 seconds just to breathe and calm yourself down. Imagining with every Excel, you're letting out all of that built up tension. What that allows you to do is ground yourself so that you can then be calm when you go into the next thing.
