sam shinfin is at the berkshire hathaway annual general meeting. The company began as a textile mill founded in rhode island in 18 39. In 19 65, a group led by warren buffett took it over. Since then, it's become buffet's holding company with shares in companies like dairy queen,. apple and cococola among many others. Forty thousand people came to this year's event - including finance professionals from around the world.
