Liberty Lobby became home for almost but not quite Nazi politics in the United States. Their newsletter, the Liberty Letter, had 170,000 subscribers. When Wallace's campaign fell apart, Carto was able to swoop in and acquire a mailing list with an additional 230,000 people.
