The Trial of Felipe Onalus

In this chapter, they discuss how Felipe Onalus, a respected and honorable man, was captured after seven months of hiding and surrendered peacefully. Although Pancho Villa wanted him dead, it was decided that Onalus would face a show trial for insubordination and treason. Despite being greeted as a hero by the people and delivering speeches about peace and social justice, the trial was fixed from the beginning and Onalus was sentenced to death.
