The Futures Curves Are Upward Sloping
Oil prices in real terms are flatish since 1925, which is when our data set goes back to. Oil and gas companies are up over 8% per annum real over the same period of time. Look at metals. Those prices are flatish in real terms of the last 100 years, same as oil prices. They're up closer to 9% annualized per year for the last100 years. The equities are much, much better than the commodities themselves.
