The Importance of Form in Textile Work
I think earlier on I was trying to be not for the sake of how things would be read but for me to make that jump from two dimensional painting into textile work and performance. And in terms of how that then manifests itself in terms of form, is there a sort of two and throw where you're thinking that might too directly relate to a particular kind of experience or a particular means of expressing elements of identity for instance? It has always been much more complicated and nuanced for me with frictions that don't always seem obvious and apparent if you're kind of stylistically inserting certain aesthetics in your work particularly if they're relating to popular cultural moments like MTV history.
