Can anyone borrow and apply the principles of biomimicry in their homes, works or holistic behaviors? I think so, to varying extents. Conativity is a term coined by an Australian philosopher called Freya Matthews. And it refers to the way that living beings have evolved to not just maintain and increase their in existence, but to do so in a way that enhances the living systems of which they're apart. The dominant behavioral norm since the rise of agrarian societies has been to not engage with the conativity of living systems.
