After the extinction of dinosaurs, grasslands took over a huge percentage of the terrestrial Earth surface. So what does this mean in terms of soil composition and nutrient processing? And so yeah, I'm just curious what your work has to say about the way that soils themselves have changed over the last 65 million years or so. But one thing we should realize is, yes, this is a tiny little thing that have been pumping water nutrients through earth history but it can generate macro scale pattern.
