In 19 79, the per capita g d p of china was about a hundred and 75 dollars. To day, as that same person is now either retiring or considering retirement, it's over ten thousand dollars. China has gone from 70% rural to 60% urban in less than 40 years. It's seen a five, six thousand % increase in the g d p during that time.
