This is point three on the outline, that the virtue of faith is properly supernatural. Not only does it cohere with what we can prove by philosophy about god, but it's also confirmed by things like o christ miracles and so forth. And this is a remedy to both scepticism and pidaism. I mean, why would you not want it just to take the pidiist line? Aquinas thinks that your will end up being embarrassed if you try to claim too much for faith.
