Much of the kind of work on religion and Marxism has been framed within Christianity because that was the most obvious cultural, you know, location for Marx's ideas. But there is a reason why so many Marxists like Carl Kowdski, even Engels wrote about some of these kind of reform radical Protestant Reformation thinkers Tom Thomas Munzer. And all of these millenarian visions are a lot like communism in the sense that they posit that everything will be held in common,.
