How to Help the Phantom Washer Woman Wring Out Sheets
A Breton creature from France. According to a book on Celtic folklore, you need to wring out sheets in the same direction as the washer woman. Eventually though, she'll become so exasperated that she just does it all herself. You might be mad, left splashing in the river yourself, having to do laundry for a hundred years. Until you hear a traveler in the night, and back in the monover because you just need a little help with your laundry.
