Is the Arctic a Potential Tipping Point?
Scientists say there is no evidence that will pass any tipping points this century. But we can't rule out the possibility that we might in the future. If one of these tipping points goes it can help trigger the next, like falling dominoes. So as the arctic warms, that helps trigger the melting of the green and ice sheet. That in turn helps trigger another big tipping point, this time in the atlantic ocean.
