She argues thattremp's support isn't just a political aberration within the g o p or a compromise on behalf of wide evangelicals but rather this culmination of decades of work by all sorts of policy makers and lobbyists and interests. The religious right was formed to oppose civil rights movement; they were very satisfied with having somebody who didn't care about civility.
