In 2009, Whitney headlines the 50-show Nothing But Love Tour. At one show in Australia, she pauses for a full minute before trying to hit the big and I will always love you When she finally does try, it just isn't there. Her shaky self-esteem plummets even further. She relapses in 2011 and then heads back to rehab. It's February 8th, 2012 in Los Angeles. Whitney Houston is dead at 48. The official autopsy later cites her cause of death as an accidental drowning with heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.
