There are two other rabbits in the book early on there is a rabbit called Barbara and who's Terry's rabbit and that's a story she's someone struggling with her sexuality yeah. Then there's a rabbit called lettuce whose kitty's rabbit and both of those rabbits mean an awful lot to the women and then they die or they they go away and they don't know what's happened to them why do you feel like the lot of those pets is still so significant for both those women who've been such a long time ago? They really were I think for Terry with Barbara because she was being raised in a very violent home she was queer her mother was very violent towards her was very homophobic which
