Gene Epstein: I have long felt that we needed to have a full-length Jeff Dies book. It's interesting, a lot of the themes in this anthology ring truer today than they did 10 years ago. He says since Trump and Brexit came on the scene around 2015, the shift has been pretty profound.Epstein: The idea that politicians at least used to tell us that they cared about us is no longer true.
