The Structure Problem in an Industrial Mass Media Society
In an industrial mass media society, the attraction to those in power of maintaining narrative control is nearly impossible to resist. A new right regime that simply took over the existing levels of power would be far preferable to the left regime we have now. But it would very likely become less preferable over time, and it would struggle to truly rebuild America. The ultimate solution is to reject the forms of government and social organization that create this problem.
