What Is the Impact of E-Commerce?
E-commerce was already starting to gain very serious adoption, but it was very concentrated in what we could call mega marketplaces. Up until a year or two or three ago, e-commerce was really mostly reserved for large brands that had significant technology and all marketing budget. As these new social means of conducting e-commerce have come up, the playing field has also leveled a great deal because the barriers to entry are so relatively low.
