Isn't It Time to Go to the East Gable?
Anne was sent to class with nine other girls who all had puffed e s. She tried to imagine mine were puffed too, but couldn't. After sunday school she asked miss rogerson for a paraphrase of the poem. The poet's work is so sad and melancholy that it might as well be. Anne can hardly wait until next Sunday to recite it in church.
