How Many Credits Do You Need for Your Bachelors Degree?
There is no point to taking these types of testing if you're not going to use the credits on the other side. If you get extra credits from clep, they didn't cost you anything, no problem. Yet i would say, don't worry about having too many credits. They'll just show up on your transcript. But you only need the one 20 for your degree. You might find you can use some of those extra classes they might serve for prerequisites for an mba or something to that degree.
