Lesbian and Gay Book Shops Are All Over the Place
In my mind, the world is so much different now than when I was coming up and coming out. One of the things that's happened as time has gone on is that there are very relatively few lesbian and gay book shops anymore. There used to be very many of them because they were the only places you could go and find the lesbian and gay titles. That wasn't the way it was then. People who like mysteries like these books, people who like mysteries that aren't Agatha Christie all tied up in bows at the end. No typical boy meets girl, every happily ever after. And the happily ever after is an ongoing story, just like life is.
