The Headless Hattie Story

Headless Hattie is a ghostly figure who haunts Camp Owens in Marion, Ohio. The campers tell the story that she was killed and her head chopped off by an angry husband or group of thieves. A German colony once lived on the property before being forced out during the early 20th century. Headless Hattie can often be seen mucking through the swampy quarry near the camp's entrance.
