Chol and the King of Wessex

In 591, three years after Eyla might have died, something happens in Wessex. We aren't given a lot of details, but what we're told is that Chol took over the throne and didn't seem like he was very powerful. He's rarely described as doing anything on his own during battles. In an era that prizes military command, sharing those responsibilities may not have done them any favors.
