The Importance of Social Impact

Social impact or making a difference is tentatively about promoting total expected well-being, considered impartially over the long term. We understand well-being as an inclusive notion, meaning anything that makes people better off. The best we can do is to weigh the benefits of different actions by their probability and compare them based on expected value.
