The Importance of Investing in Small Caps
Since 2000, I think 20 small caps have been on a tear. They massively outperformed large caps, massively outperformed mid caps. And you've been able to capture that. But your future investments, think about saying, okay, you know what, I already have a lot in small caps. Now, I need to have more on the large-carbon mid cap. Most of my newer investments are going into momentum only in a mutual fund construct. As actual stocks, as a thematic basket, the churn and the taxation will kill you because in mutual funds, your churn is tax-free.
