Augustine's Exegetical Lesson on Abraham

Augustine of Aphorism is an early Christian author. He was inspired by God's promise to Abraham that his descendants would rule over Canaan, but the real promise was Christianity's looming dominion over the whole earth. Augustine interprets this verse as meaning older people of the Jews was destined to serve the younger people, the Christians.
