Are Euphemisms Dishonest?
i suspect of a phenomenon described by stephen thinker at harvard, which is called the euphemism treadmill. When you are using a euphemism to describe a heinous act, or something that is otherwise undesirable, eventually people know what you are talking about. So if proabortion movement really thinks that they're on firm footing here, then why not be honest? Why not usemy real terms? Why do you constantly have to say clump of celves or zigot or a woman's health here?
