Learning to Hand Write Is a Big Investment in Time and Exposure
People who write by hand have better cumulative word phrase retention. They actually retained the characters that they learned even better than handwriting memorization group. When my son was in a local chinese school, i would stay up writing characters with him and aliht almost every night. If you just took that time and say, he instead of like, writing all these characters mindlessly, let's read or hek, even flash cards would have been better.
