The first boxes of Kellogg's cornflakes were just flakes and then they started focusing on sugar. They didn't talk about health benefits because at this point people were brainwashed. Children go tell your parents that other parents will call you poor if you don't buy me sugar in the morning in flake form. It was a very similar story where you're taking something kind of unappealing on its surface and selling it.
